Duties include first-class care of dressage performance
and breeding horses. Must have knowledge/experience
grooming, clipping, assisting vet and farrier, and ability
to operate simple farm machinery. Work schedule most days
is from 7 AM to 6 PM, lunch from 2 - 3 PM. 1.5 days off
per week, although some flexibility may be required during
showing and breeding season. |
| |
|
The person we are looking for must be cheerful, athletic,

skills to interact with bi-weekly riding guests from
around the world. |

|
Per compensation, the candidate
should bring a suitable horse for a year's training. They will
ride every day with Paul and Andrea, and have one weekly private
lesson with Paul.
To further theoretical knowledge,
interns will be issued reading material and videos weekly from
Paul’s extensive library, which includes very rare books and
videos of old riding masters. There will also be opportunities
for the student to ride school horses where time/schedule
allows. |

|
In
instances where the intern is unable to bring a horse or does
not own a horse, the Academy may be able to provide a suitable
horse for the intern to use for the year. |
| |
|
The intern will have sole use of a private apartment
approximately 1 mile from farm. Utilities are included except
phone, internet access or cable television, which are available.
